Integrated Police Coordination Committee ("CCGPI")

Following the Law of 26 March 2014 on optimisation measures for Belgian police services, an Integrated Police Coordination Committee was created.  It is made up of the President and Vice-Presidents of the Standing Commission of the Local Police (the "Daily Management Bureau") and of the Federal Police's Management Committee members.

The Integrated Police Coordination Committee acts either on its own initiative or at the request of the Belgian Minister of Home Affairs or the Belgian Minister of Justice.

The meetings of the Integrated Police Coordination Committee are chaired alternately by the President of the Standing Commission of the Local Police and the Chief Commissioner.

In accordance with the regulations set out in the internal Rules, the members of the Integrated Police Coordination Committee may be assisted, in an advisory capacity, by specialists from the Integrated Police or by external experts.

The Integrated Police Coordination Committee may meet with the Council of Mayors on matters within their respective competences.
